Austin Dillon is a professional stock car racing driver from America who competes full-time in the NASCAR cup series for Richard Childress Racing (RCR) N:3 team. He is the grandson of RCR owner Richard Childress, and his father, Mike Dillon, is the team’s managing director. He was born in Lewisville, North Carolina, on April 27, 1990. He, alongside his brother Ty Dillon, who is also a NASCAR Cup driver, owns Team Dillon Management, a professional driver management firm. He was featured in the Reality Show Austin Dillon’s Life in the Fast Lane with his wife, Whitney Ward, and son.
He made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in 2008 with RCR and his Truck series debut in 2009 for the same team. He signed a full-time deal with RCR in 210 to drive in the third-tier series. He made his Cup series debut in 2012 for Curb Racing. Dillon made his full-time Xfinity series debut in 2012, and after spending two full-time seasons, he signed with the RCR No:3 team full-time in 2014.
Austin Dillon has won the Truck and Xfinity series in his NASCAR career. He won both titles with RCR. Dillon won the Truck series in 2011, scoring two wins, and the Xfinity Series in 2013 without scoring a single win. His first NASCAR win came in the Truck Series at Iowa in 2010. He scored his first Xfinity Series win in 2012 at Kentucky. Dillon’s first Cup race win was at the 2018 Daytona 500, 4 years after making his full-time debut. He has 4* Cup race wins. 9* Xfinity wins and 7* Truck series win in NASCAR.
