Damian Lillard, nicknamed ‘Dame Time’ for his terrific clutch shot-making prowess, plays as a point guard for the Milwaukee Bucks. Born on July 15, 1990, Lillard has been the face of the Blazers ever since his inception in the league and until his trade to Milwaukee.
When was Damian Lillard drafted?
With a scholarship, Lillard played college basketball at Weber State University for three seasons. Early accolades at Weber State helped Lillard get drafted by Portland Trail Blazers in 2012 as the sixth overall pick. From there on it went only upwards for the point guard. With a successful first year in the league, Lillard was named the 2013 NBA Rookie of the Year. Ever since Portland has been home for Lillard in his journey to becoming one of the top point guards of the league.
