Ngannou made his UFC debut at UFC on Fox 17, the same event where Kamaru Usman fought Leon Edwards for the first time. Ngannou knocked out Luis Henrique in the first round at the event, showcasing his power which would eventually become a nightmare for heavyweights.

Ngannou was the UFC’s heavyweight champion. He won the title knocking out Stipe Miocic at UFC 270. After defending the title against Ciryl Gane at UFC 270, Ngannou left the UFC on a bitter note. He is now with the PFL.
