Frederic Vasseur is a French motorsport engineer who is currently the team principal and also the general manager of Scuderia Ferrari. He was born on the 28th of May, 1968 in Draveil, Ile-de-France, France. Vasseur is an aeronautics and engineering graduate.
When did Frederic Vasseur join Formula 1?
After gaining a multitude of experience, working in several motorsport organizations, Vasseur joined Renault Sport and became the team principal of Renault Sport Formula One Team in 2016. Following his resignation that same year, Vasseur became the managing director and CEO of Sauber Motorsport AG, and also the Team Principal. 5 years later, on the 13th of December, 2022, Vasseur was announced as the Team Principal of Scuderia Ferrari.
