Kayla Harrison is a former Olympic and world champion judoka who is currently competing in the Professional Fighters League as a mixed martial artist. She won gold medals as a Judoka at the 2012 and 2016 editions of the Olympics. She also holds a 6th dan black belt judo.
After the 2016 Olympics, she shifted to MMA and made her professional debut at PFL 2 in 2018. Since then, she has gone on a 15-match unbeaten run before losing in 2022 at PFL 10. During her unbeaten run, she has managed to win the 2019 and 2021 PFL Women’s Lightweight Championship.
