Pedro González López, known as Gavi, is a professional footballer who plays as a Central midfielder in La Liga for FC Barcelona and internationally for Spain. He was born in Bajamar, Tenerife, Canary Islands, on 25 November 2002. He is renowned for his dribbling, vision, passing, first touch, close control, change of pace, and intelligent turns.

When did Pedri make his senior team debut?

Pedri made a name for himself playing for CF Juventud Laguna in his youth years before joining the Las Palms youth team in 2018. He signed a professional debut for the team in the second tier of Spanish football on 18 August 2019. He made his senior team debut against Sporting Gijón. In 2019 he was signed by Barcelona and made his debut for the team in La Liga on 7 September against Villareal. His Spanish national team debut came on 25 March 2021 against Greece.

How many titles has Pedri won?

Pedri has won two senior titles in his career, the Copa del Rey in 2021 and the Supercopa de España in 2022. He won the 2022 Summer Olympic silver medal with Spain. Pedri has also won individual honors such as the UEFA European Championship Young Player of the Tournament (2020),  Trofeo Aldo Rovira (2020–21), the Golden Boy Award (2021), the Kopa Trophy (2021), and the IFFHS World’s Best Youth (U20) Player award (2021).
