Shavkat Rakhmonov has become one of the most exciting and promising contenders in the welterweight division. Born on October 23, 1994, in Shurchi Uzbekistan Shavkat started his MMA career in 2014. Shavkat started fighting in regional MMA promotions like M-1, KZMMAF, and WMMA. There he made his name by becoming the champion and managed to stay undefeated.

Shavkat Rakhmonov later signed with UFC in 2020 and became the first Kazakh fighter to be signed by the organization. Rakhmonov made his UFC debut against Alex Oliviera and won via submission.
