Born, Torger Christian Wolff, Toto Wolff is an Austrian motorsport executive who is the Team Principal and CEO of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One team. Born on the 12th of January, 1972 in Vienna, Austria, Wolff began his career in motorsports back in 1992.

When did Toto Wolff join Formula One?

It all started when Wolff bought a share of the Williams Formula One Team in 2009, and was hence inducted into the team’s board of directors. Three years later, in 2012, Wolff was appointed as the executive director of Williams. However, just a year later, Wolff became an executive director of Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1, and has only seen massive success ever since.
