Tammy Abraham could make way for Romelu Lukaku to come into the Chelsea team

Tammy Abraham had faced problems to get into the Chelsea side ever since the introduction of Thomas Tuchel as coach. Under former Manager Frank Lampard, he used to get plenty of playing time. However this has changed drastically with Thomas Tuchel not even naming him on the bench.

Amongst the transfer targets for Chelsea for the striker position is Romelu Lukaku. The former blue’s man is currently at Inter Milan under Antonio Conte where he is in absolutely terrific form. Since joining Inter Milan from Manchester United last season, Romelu Lukaku has already secured 44 goals.

Chelsea are trying to tempt him away from Inter Milan and shoukd they secure UEFA champions league qualification, it might just become a bit more easier. Erling Haaland too is one of the players in Chelsea’s target list.

However the competition for the Borussia Dortmund man is too high and Chelsea are currently looking at the realistic proportions. A lot of major European clubs are interested in Erling Haaland and Borussia Dortmund will definitely ask for a high sum.

In between all of this, Tammy Abraham may be facing a major problem. With the incoming of another striker, his time at Chelsea could well be over. It looks unlikely that Chelsea will sell Timo Werner and that leaves Tammy Abraham.

This will be a bit harsh on Tammy Abraham as he’s still Chelsea’s highest goal scorer in this season despite playing half the matches Timo Werner has played. According to rumours, Chelsea will keep the bid for Tammy Abraham at £40 million.
