Taylor Fritz’s longtime girlfriend and influencer, Morgan Riddle, has slammed an unverified report that she has broken up with the American tennis player. The American model found herself at the center of the online frenzy and responded by tagging Fritz in an Instagram post, adding a laughing emoji.
The breakup rumor began circulating after tennis analyst Craig Shapiro opened up about the end of Fritz’s romantic relationship with Morgan Riddle. The pundit claimed that a reliable source told him that the couple is no longer together. The claim quickly drew traction online and fueled a wave of unverified reports.
In one of the reports posted on Instagram, Riddle was shocked when she saw it. The post had a headline that read: “DUMPED, sources say that Taylor Fritz has DUMPED his long-time Morgan Riddle.” The American model was shocked at the speculation and quickly tagged Fritz before giving a sarcastic reply:
Taylor Fritz damn did you know about this??

The breakup rumors of the couple came as a shock, given that Fritz and Riddle have been together for more than six years. The pair revealed their relationship in June 2020 after first connecting exclusively on the dating app Rata during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over time, Riddle has become a familiar face on the tennis circuit and has built a large following of tennis fans as she documents events and offers behind-the-scenes glimpses in Grand Slam tournaments.
Riddle has never given an in-depth about her future with Fritz on a podcast or any outing. She has always tried to keep things private between them, but has on one occasion shared that they hope to raise a daughter who they would love to be a tennis player in the future. However, it is worth noting that Fritz is already a father to his son, Jordan, whom he shares with his ex-wife Raquel Pedraza.
Nonetheless, after more than six years together, the couple is no stranger to public scrutiny and persistent rumors about their relationship. Earlier this year, after accompanying the 28-year-old to the Australian Open in Melbourne, Riddle was forced to shut down pregnancy rumors that gained traction on social media.
Besides that, Fritz has often made public how Riddle motivates him to go out and seek more titles on the court. Last year, after winning two grass-court titles, he revealed at the Wimbledon Championships that he had enjoyed success on the court since his relationship with Riddle. He reached the semi-finals of the Grand Slam tournament before losing to two-time champion Carlos Alcaraz.
Taylor Fritz not taking part in the ongoing Monte Carlo Masters due to injury
Taylor Fritz withdrew from the ongoing Monte Carlo Masters due to an injury that he sustained at the Miami Open. The American star joined the long list of players who have withdrawn from the tournament, which includes his fellow compatriot Ben Shelton, Novak Djokovic, and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.

The American star was seeking to return to the top 5 in the ATP rankings by performing at his best at the Miami Open, but he couldn’t get past the fourth round as he fell to eventual runner-up Jiri Lehecka. Fritz now holds a 12-8 record in the 2026 season so far and has not won a tour-level title.
His best run this year came at the Dallas Open in February, where he reached the final of the ATP 500 tournament. However, he lost to fellow compatriot Ben Shelton in three sets despite being the favorite to win the title. He has not reached the semi-finals of a tournament since the defeat.
However, Fritz’s best record at the Monte Carlo Masters came in 2023 when he reached the semi-finals. Before that year, he reached the quarter-finals. He’s expected to return to the court at the BMW Open in Munich. The ATP 500 tournament will kick off on April 13, just a day after the Monte Carlo final.
