Taylor Fritz taunts ESPN over minute detail involving girlfriend Morgan Riddle’s 350k Instagram profile
Taylor Fritz had a hilarious response after being praised for reaching the second week of all Grand Slams in a season.

Taylor Fritz made history by becoming the first American man since Andre Agassi in 2003 to reach the second week of all four Grand Slam events in a season. He began the year reaching the second week of the Australian Open but failed to go further after losing to Novak Djokovic in the fourth round.
Fritz continued his good performances in big tournaments by reaching the fourth round of the French Open, losing 7-6(6), 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 to Casper Ruud. He went a step further at Wimbledon, exiting in the quarterfinals at the All-England Club following defeat to Lorenzo Musetti.
At the US Open, Fritz beat Argentine Camilo Ugo Carabelli and Matteo Berrettini in the opening rounds before registering a 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 win over Francisco Comesana in the third round, making sure that he reached the second week in all Grand Slams this year.
ESPN took to social media to applaud Fritz after he became the first American man since Agassi in 2003 to achieve the feat. Fritz responded by expressing his love for the kind words but observed that ESPN followed his girlfriend Morgan Riddle on Instagram but not him.

Riddle is an American social media influencer and content creator who has been dating Fritz for some time now. She is known for giving the American star’s fans insights into his private life and life on the tour through her social media accounts.
Taylor Fritz ready to face Casper Ruud in the fourth round of the 2024 US Open
Taylor Fritz has eased into the fourth round at the 2024 US Open after three comfortable wins. He will face his first big test when he takes on Casper Ruud, an opponent he has failed to beat in their last two meetings.
The American’s first loss to the Norwegian came at the ATP Finals in 2022. At the French Open earlier this year, he lost to the World No. 8 in the Round of 16. Ahead of their clash in New York, Fritz stated that he needed to raise his level if he hoped to beat Ruud and stay alive in the tournament.

Last year, Fritz reached exited in the quarterfinals at the US Open after losing to eventual winner Novak Djokovic. This year, he will hope to go a few steps further, especially with some big names like Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz out of the mix already.
