Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were the highlight of Coachella 2024, as the power couple’s popularity eclipsed that of the artists who took the stage to perform. Over the weekend, fans saw multiple videos and images taken by attendees of Swift and Kelce. Now, an expert lip reader has attempted to decipher the snippets of the conversation between the couple.

As per Jackie Gonzalez, a blessed lip reader, who is deaf but great at deciphering conversations based on lip movement, Taylor Swift apologized to Travis Kelce for drinking too much. While looking at different videos of the couple together, Gonzalez interprets the pop star greeting fans as they head to the front of the crowd in the VIP platform, at which point she exclaims to Kelce, “Oh, my God! We’re in the front? WOW.”

In another video, Swift ran into a friend of hers at the event and introduced Kelce by saying, “This is Travis.” The tight end appears to have encountered the friend because he can recognize them and retorted with “I’ma go ahead and ignore that time, but nice to meet you.” The person to whom they were talking is not clearly visible.

Swift was having the time of her life. When Ice Spice was performing, the pop star was grooving to her music while singing the lyrics to her songs. Gonzalez does issue a disclaimer on all of her Instagram posts where she interprets the conversations between celebrities, stating that lipreading is not a reliable form of communication and that her interpretations are alleged.

After a performance she thoroughly enjoyed, Swift turned to Kelce and allegedly apologized to Kelce.

Kelce was right behind her throughout the event. It was adorable to see the tight end be protective of his girlfriend. It was no surprise that the pop star opted to keep her bodyguards away. After all, if anything did happen, Kelce was right there.

It has been a relaxing couple of months for the power couple that has struggled to get a lot of time to hang out during the NFL season. Before heading to Coachella, Kelce and Swift were spotted having dinner. The couple also took a private vacation in the Bahamas recently. They are attempting to spend as much time before the next leg of Swift’s Eras Tour kicks off in May.
