Not many people, such as the Kansas City Chiefs star player Travis Kelce, knew that there was an award for cameos. The information came to him in the form of his nomination in the iHeart Radio Music Awards for his appearance with his girlfriend Taylor Swift. The tight end was a pile of bewilderment in his podcast with brother Jason Kelce who broke the news.
On a recent installation of the New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce shed some light on Travis Kelce’s off-field ventures. The former Eagles star revealed that the younger Kelce received a nod for his cameo at Taylor Swift’s London Eras Tour show in June. One of the fellow nominees was Travis himself for his appearance alongside Patrick Mahomes at Morgan Wallen’s Kansas City concert in August.
The sheer shock on Jason Kelce was a highly relatable gesture as Travis competed with Selena Gomez, Cher, and Chappel Roan. The Chiefs tight end gave a shoutout to them before erupting out his admiration for Cher’s hit from 1998, ‘Believe‘.

After a singing session, Jason Kelce concluded he was rooting for Cher in the Super Bowl. The wildly asked question has been a central debate about the retired Eagles center. The validity comes from Jason Kelce’s situation of rooting for either one of his precious team or his brother. The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will butt heads on February 9 in New Orleans. With the stakes high for both teams, every support will have significance.

As for Travis Kelce, he has his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s full attention, who is often credited for bringing in viewers. Reportedly, the NFL has gained a boatload of followers ever since the global pop star started following the game. Taylor Swift became a regular at Arrowhead Stadium in October 2023 when the two started seeing each other. She is also nominated for several other awards at the event set to take place on March 17.

On the same episode of his New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce finally addressed the elephant in the room. Objectively, the current Super Bowl scenario between the Eagles and the Chiefs was the most ideal situation for the former NFL center. He took to his podcast to make his pick between the two teams.

For the former Eagles player, nothing operates in binary as he shuts the question with “the reality of it”. Jason Kelce declared that he would support Travis Kelce because he was his brother meanwhile the Eagles also had his encouragement. Highlighting further on his team, he stated that some of his team members felt like brothers to him.
Likely so, Jason Kelce had accepted that he would simultaneously celebrate and lament with each team. However, the NFL athlete confessed that he would be lying if he disregarded his wishes for the Eagles to win. Notably, Jason Kelce shot the entire podcast decked in Eagles gear.
