Stephen Curry and Draymond Green vibe as Golden State Warriors rookie Blake Hinson sings Taylor Swift song
The NBA preseason is in its closing stages with teams working on new schemes and gameplans. One aspect players work on in this period is team chemistry, which is crucial once the regular season gets underway.
The Golden State Warriors decided to implement one such team-building event before Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and their teammates played a game. And they took the help of Taylor Swift to do it.
Before their game, all the Golden State Warriors players assembled on the court and undrafted forward Blake Hinson was asked to sing along to a song of his choice. The song happened to the popular track ‘You Belong With Me’ by Taylor Swift.
Hinson sang along without missing a word. The forward even pointed to the crowd and brought them in to sing along with him. Other Warriors players were also seen chiming in or at least vibing along, especially those who did not know the lyrics.
But the most enthusiastic of the bunch were team leaders Stephen Curry and Draymond Green. The two first stood on the sidelines watching the karaoke session start slow and then catch fire with the fans.

Then they too joined in to sing along and danced away as the crowd cheered on. If team-building exercises such as these end up bringing the team together in the long run, the Warriors may not have a problem getting the most out of each player. They will need contributions from all if they are to battle in the tough Western Conference.
Golden State Warriors to host Los Angeles Lakers in last preseason game
The Golden State Warriors are a perfect 5-0 in the preseason so far. Even though the preseason is hardly a measure of how good or bad a team is, for some, it does throw up some interesting takeaways to base their understanding of the team.
Their wins so far have come from elite three-point shooting and the second-year growth of last year’s rookies. Their last game will be against the Los Angeles Lakers, a team that recently won a hard-fought game against the Phoenix Suns.
The game showcased the emergence of stud rookie Dalton Knecht along with some interesting plays from the rest of the squad. If the Lakers do build on that, they could upset the Warriors chances of sweeping the preseason.
More importantly, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green will get an idea of what they need to tweak before the regular season starts. The Los Angeles Lakers will be one of the teams they will have to contend for a playoff spot.
