Patrick Mahomes partied it up on his early birthday celebration on Sunday. The celebration came after the Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback’s narrow win against the Cincinnati Bengals. Taylor Swift was one of the many guests in attendance.
Post Chiefs’ 26-25 victory against the Bengals, Patrick Mahomes held a birthday party to celebrate himself as he is to turn 29 following Tuesday. The QB’s wife Brittany Mahomes posted several pictures of the bash on her Instagram stories.
The whole space was packed with red and metallic themed balloons and lights. In a photo booth setup, Chariah Gordon posted polaroid pictures with Taylor Swift and Sheawna Weathersby on her story.
The Grammy award winning singer sported funky red glasses for the picture. Beneath the polaroid, ‘Happy birthday Patrick’ and ‘Twenty-nine’ were etched as footnotes. Highlighting the feature attraction of the event, Brittany Mahomes also included cups and koozies with a photo of Mahomes as a kid. In one of her stories, there was a clip of the quarterback blowing out candles on a cookie cake.
Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes were one of the fans cheering the Chiefs from the stands. While the Mahomes and Swift are good friends, the fans couldn’t help but spot that the girl gang might be having a rough patch. This game marked another one of Chiefs’ matches that the duo watched separately. The rumors of the rift were sparked when the duo found a difference in their political stances.

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes became fast friends after the former started dating Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce back in 2023. With Brittany being the wife of Chiefs’ QB, she found good company to watch his games. In the present time, the duo has found themselves at a crossroads of political difference. However, they are doing all they can to save their friendship.
According to a source exclusive to Dailymail, Brittany and Taylor made a pact the previous month. The terms of the pact forbid the duo from discussing politics with each other. The source further said that they respected each other’s different political beliefs.
Both Brittany and Taylor were aware of the sensitivity of the situation which could break their bond, per the report.
While both supported and endorsed their perspective candidate, the topic seemed to be off-limits with them. However, as the days pass by, it remains to be seen whether the pair will remain friends.
