When Kobe Bryant played basketball, he became a symbol of determination, excellence and a continuous drive to be great. A part of that drive saw him make very few friends on the court. But he did make some close friends off the court, with musical superstar Taylor Swift being one of them.

Their friendship has been a stuff of legends. Once Bryant famously helped unveil a banner celebrating the most sold-out shows at Staples Center, the home of his Los Angeles Lakers. It may not be the start of their friendship, but it was fitting for the Mamba to come out and give a tribute to her.

Kobe Bryant loved that part of her as he explained on The Jordan Harbinger Show.
