It appears the British Royalties has now become part of the Swifties Kingdom. Following her house-full show at Wembley Stadium, pop superstar Taylor Swift received Royal treatment from the Prince of Wales and his children, who were also in attendance at the grand Eras Tour concert in London. 

Being an ideal father, Prince William took his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte for a special treat at America’s biggest pop star’s concert, on his 42nd birthday. Using his royal privilege, Prince William also took a backstage selfie with the popstar– which her boyfriend had previously mentioned isn’t allowed at her concerts.

Kensington Palace shared a candid selfie on its official X handle, where the royal trio of Prince William and his two children posed with the 14-time Grammy winner, before her Friday night’s concert in London.

Swift also shared a selfie taken by her from backstage, in which her boyfriend and the star NFL player Travis Kelce also joined alongside the Royalties, on her official Instagram handle.

Shortly after these pictures, several videos from the London show hit the internet, in which the Prince of Wales was seen dancing to Swift’s hit son, Shake It Off. 

Taylor Swift and Prince William’s unforgettable duet at Charity Gala

The pop icon and Prince William have known each other for over a decade. In fact, the two had even performed a little show together back in 2013 at a charity fundraising gala for Centerpoint. They were also joined in by Jon Bon Jovi and together they sang “Livin’ on a Prayer.”

In 2021, Prince William recalled that evening and shared a hilarious story about the “Midnight” singer, during an appearance on Apple Fitness+’s Time to Walk series.

He revealed how at the event, he sat next to Swift as they enjoyed Jon Bon Jovi’s performance. As soon as he was thinking of greeting people and departing to his palace, the singer looked him in the eye and put her hand on his arm, pulling him to the stage and saying, “Come on, William. Let’s go and sing.” 

Prince William admitted it was even more shocking for him to see how he agreed to that but shared he was too overwhelmed by Swift’s request and eventually gave in.
