This weekend, he is set to step into the Octagon to face off against Arman Tsarukyan in a highly anticipated matchup at UFC 311. Recently, Makhachev couldn’t resist taking a subtle jab at Tsarukyan.
As the fight approaches, both athletes have exchanged playful jabs and engaging in spirited banter, which is building excitement among fans. Most recently, UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev poked fun at Arman Tsarukyan, who is known for coming from a privileged background. Makhachev’s comments were made in light of the advantages that Tsarukyan experienced during his upbringing.

In response to this, Makhachev voiced his opinion, stating that his chef is on a different level compared to Tsarukyan’s.

Similar to this situation, Makhachev has displayed a superiority complex towards Tsarukyan on multiple occasions. According to the UFC lightweight champion, he believes he is better than the Armenian fighter in every aspect of the sport. In response, Tsarukyan has confidently asserted his belief in his ability to defeat Makhachev at UFC 311. Consequently, the Dagestani fighter has a message for his Armenian rival.

The upcoming fight between Islam Makhachev and Arman Tsarukyan is a rematch in the lightweight division. In their first encounter, Makhachev outlasted the Armenian star during the latter’s UFC debut. As a result, Tsarukyan has been eagerly seeking a rematch with the Dagestani fighter to settle the score.
In the process, Tsarukyan consistently ridiculed the UFC lightweight champion, finding amusement in mocking his skills and persona. Just days before their fight, the Armenian fighter intensified his antics, throwing in clever insinuations and playful jabs aimed at Makhachev. In the face of these taunts, the Dagestani champion responded with a resolute statement.
