USA Basketball has certainly formed one of the most stacked teams in the history of basketball. The current Team USA consists of a mix of young NBA stars like Anthony Edwards and Tyrese Haliburton and also NBA veterans like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant. But fans can’t expect the USA to have a cakewalk in the tournament because of the great talent on the other country teams.
Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis recently talked about Team USA’s road to the gold medal. Davis stated that the road to victory won’t be that easy. He even addressed the close games against South Sudan and Germany. Davis further stated that the team will work on the mistakes they made in the pre-exhibition game.

Anthony Davis will be making his return to play in the Olympics by being part of Team USA. Davis last played in 2012, when he won the gold medal alongside stars like Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, and LeBron James.
Davis played in all the pre-exhibition games for the USA. He is a menace on the defensive end and has been a great shot-blocker and rebounder. Davis is one of the best defenders on the perimeter and has an unrivaled skillset.
USA will need Davis and his excellence on both sides of the court. Davis has proved to be healthy and will be unstoppable in the main stages of the tournament. Team USA will have their first game on the main stage against Serbia.
