Novak Djokovic presented the Ballon d’Or Feminin award to Aitana Bonmati, the Barcelona and Spain star, at the 2023 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris on Monday night.
For the uninitiated, the Serbian is currently in Paris to participate in the Paris Masters tournament, where he received a first-round bye because of his status as World No. 1. He will be seen in action after his stint at the Davis Cup and monumental win at the US Open. The 36-year-old had taken a break and skipped China to spend time with his family and take a much-needed respite.
Djokovic has always been vocal about his love for soccer. Therefore, he was honored to present the Ballon d’Or Féminin award. Before giving the award, he expressed his gratitude for being on stage in front of so many celebrated soccer players.

The top-ranked player also shared that since his father had once been a professional soccer player, there was a time when he was confused between choosing tennis or soccer.

IShowSpeed, a popular American YouTuber and Twitch streamer, was trolled by tennis icon Novak Djokovic during his IRL Ballon d’Or stream on Monday night. The YouTube sensation was at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris, France, when he ran into Djokovic. The streamer, who is not known for his knowledge of tennis, asked Djokovic for his name.
Djokovic, who was clearly amused by IShowSpeed’s lack of knowledge, and pretended to be a new AC Milan player.

I’m the new AC Milan star. I haven’t played yet but I’m getting on in the next game. Going for the hat trick.
The entire incident was captured on IShowSpeed’s stream, and it quickly went viral, eliciting a plethora of interesting reactions online.
