Ash Barty has shown serious domination at this year’s Australian Open. She has reached the finals and hasn’t dropped a single set. Barty is on a roll and none of us would be surprised to watch her lift her first Australian Open title and her third grand slam title.
In the past two weeks, Ash Barty has shown why she is the world’s No.1. Her domination has left the Australian crowds mesmerized, just watching her beat one player after the other. Also, they have been delighted to watch an Aussie play so well at the Australian Open.
After her Semi-Final win, Barty revealed how Ben Crowe her mindset coach has really helped her in reaching the Finals of the Australian Open. She said, “My mentor, Ben Crowe, has been a massive part of my life, He helped my team, he helped me to change the perception of how I viewed everything, really.”

Ash Barty is into the first Australian Open Final of her career after defeating Madison Keys in straight sets in the Semi-Finals 6-1, 6-3. The world No.1 has been destructing anyone that comes in that comes in her way.
An example of her domination is that she hasn’t dropped a single set on her way into the finals. Barty hasn’t even let her opponent win 5 games in a set. People were surprised to witness her sheer dominance in the tournament and were inquisitive that what took Barty from playing such dominating games before.
Well, Barty in an interview after her semi-final win put an end to all the inquisitions. She complimented her coach Ben Crowe’s efforts in helping her reach the Australian Open Finals.
She began by saying, “My mentor, Ben Crowe, has been a massive part of my life, He helped my team, he helped me to change the perception of how I viewed everything, really.”
She talked about her experiences with Ben, she said, “I was able to grow as a person and really start enjoying my tennis a lot more. It’s taken me to that next level and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the work. We’ve had to work really hard and I love it. I love trying to piece together all the pieces of the puzzle to try to make me a complete tennis player, and it’s been fantastic to have him as part of that team.”
When asked about her mindset going into the finals of a grand slam, she said, “It’s exciting, you get to play for a Grand Slam title and that doesn’t happen every week, But I think the processes and the routines that we go through leading up to the match are really similar.”
“We stay really light, we have fun, we embrace the environment but we don’t get overawed by it. We just go out there and play and have fun. I know that when I do that, that’s when I play my best tennis and I can compete for each and every point. Ultimately, I’ve been able to do that really well so far this month in January.” Barty added.
