Top Half
Top-seeded Casper Ruud gets a first-round bye and is likely to take on Roberto Carballes Baena who starts against a qualifier. Pablo Cuevas will take on Federico Coria in the first round with the winner set to take on a fiery clash between Benoit Paire and the 5th seeded Dusan Lajovic.
4th seeded Fabio Fognini has a bye in the first round and the Italian will take on the winner from the clash between Alejandro Tabilo and Pedro Martinez. Pablo Andujar will clash with Juan Ignacio Londero with the winner set to take on the winner from the clash between Juan Martin del Potro and Federico Delbonis.

It could potentially be the second meeting between Ruud and Tabilo. While Ruud did not play since the 2022 ATP Cup, his record on the Tour last year where he was the 2nd most successful player with 5 titles to his name and fantastic performance on the Clay courts make him the favourite for this match. The duo last met in the 2nd round of the 2020 Santiago Open with Ruud winning in straight-sets.
In what could be their first meeting since their 4th round meeting in the 2020 French Open where Schwartzman won in straight-sets, Sonego and Schwartzman will play in a thrilling battle as both are good players on Clay. With Schwartzman the local boy and coming from a semi-final run in Cordoba, he could be the one heading into the finals.
