Felix Auger-Aliassime defeated Frenchman Jo Wilfried Tsonga 7-6, 6-2 in the second round. Ivashka skipped the Australian hardcourt season because of an injury and began his 2022 season at the ATP Montpellier Open where he lost in the opening round.
