Elina Svitolina is a Ukrainian professional tennis player. She has 16 singles titles and two doubles to her name. Her highest ranking according to the Women’s Tennis Association was World No.3 and her current ranking is World No.15.
Elina is a defensive baseline player. Her greatest strengths are her movement, footwork, speed, stamina, and anticipation, allowing her to return as many balls as possible, and to draw unforced errors out of aggressive players.

Recently, Elina said in an interview that she is willing to take a third shot of the COVID-19 vaccine for the safety of her close ones. Watching her friends suffer from the virus was very tough for her.
Initially, she was doubtful about the skeptical regarding the benefits of vaccine. But now, she has her faith in the vaccine.
“Even if they tell me that I have to get a third shot, I would be happy to do that, because I see now so many new cases – and lots of players. Lots of our friends are getting Covid, so it’s quite tough right now,” Svitolina said.
2021 was rather a good year for Svitolina, and her fans would like her to continue making an impact in 2022.
