Emma Raducanu is just 18 years old and has already seen a lot in a relatively young career. She delivered an astonishing performance at the US Open and defeated several top-rated stars to claim the title in an emphatic fashion. No one was able to corner her even for a single set in the entire tournament.
In no time, Emma became the showstopper in several events. Brands rushed to roper her in as their brand ambassador and Raducanu’s mixed heritage strengthened her global appeal even more. However, as soon as the star player returned to the court, she was defeated in her very first match which again shocked many tennis fans.
In the last few months, Raducanu has won a Grand Slam title, has parted ways with her coach, has jumped from 150th spot in WTA rankings to 24th, and has lost her first match at Indian Wells. For an 18-year-old this is definitely a little too much to handle.

The only way out is to hone her skills and make a thumping comeback on the court. The Brit, who is now all set to feature in the Transylvania Open was recently seen practicing on the center court alongside local tennis star Gabriela Ruse. Although it was just a practice session, the way audience applauded the two stars made everyone feel like it was nothing short of a high-octane contest.
A few pictures of two stars battling hard on the court were posted on Transylvania Open’s official Instagram handle which is getting a lot of likes. Moreover, apart from the two stars, a special fan dressed perfectly in accordance to Halloween was spotted in the stands who also gained some attention.
Emma would be under pressure coming into the tournament. Things didn’t go according to plan at the Indian Wells Open and she would be itching to make a strong comeback on the court by getting a few wins under her belt at the Transylvania Open.
