Sports and fashion has always been a perfect marketing combo that grabs eyeballs all over the world. Top brands and magazines actively look for trending sporting personalities to build their brand. This week, it is 18-year old Brit Emma Raducanu who debuts on the cover page of Vogue Magazine.

Raducanu announced herself to the world at Wimbledon 2021 where she reached the fourth round of the tournament and was the only female Brit to do so despite being ranked outside the top 300 in the world. He continued her good run and came into the US Open as a top 150 player.

She has dominated the elusive tournament in Flushing Meadows like no one else and hasn’t dropped a set in the 7 matches she has dropped so far. She has broken many records in the process and will be once again on the mega stage in the quarterfinals. Meanwhile on the fashion front, Emma was seen rocking some amazing outfits and has flaunted her looks pretty well. She was also seen in some tennis inspired poses which have absolutely broken the internet.

“I think the confidence comes from just inner belief,” Raducanu said in between the shoot. “My mum comes from a Chinese background, they have very good self-belief. It’s not necessarily about telling everyone how good you are, but it’s about believing it within yourself. I really respect that about the culture.”

Emma then talked about being a role model for the generation ahead. “When I was growing up, there wasn’t a female that I was like, ‘Wow, I want to be like her,” she said.

“I feel like I want to give back to everyone who’s helped me. I was a very shy little girl who didn’t talk much at all, and through playing sport, and having to be bold on the court and fearless and fight, it’s given me inner strength. If you have that, then you can really achieve whatever you want.”
