Young British sensation Emma Raducanu surprised the tennis universe by becoming the only singles qualifier to reach the semifinal and final of the US Open in the Open Era. She went ahead to become one of the youngest players to win the US Open title at the age of 19.
To end a sensational year in a sensational way Raducanu was presented with BBC sports personality of the year 2021. She became the only tennis player after Andy Murray (2016) to win the title. Now, she has shared some pictures of the award with her fans on her social media handles.

After winning the US Open title, Emma Raducanu gained a very huge fanbase, the British No.1 experienced a great deal of popularity at a very young age. Along with her receiving the title, she posted an image of the camera on the BBC TV Camera, from the award that she received. The award showcases a silver-plated four-turret lens camera.
Even though She was seen before at the awards, accepting her award in a virtual way. She even posted her feelings about receiving such a huge award at such a young age. She said that she was honoured to be nominated besides the greats of British sports, let alone winning the award.
The British No.1 one also thanked her fans for coming out and voting for her and making her win the award.
