Eugenie Bouchard has reportedly split up with her boyfriend Mason Rudolph. The Canadian was in a relationship with Rudolph, who plays a quarterback for Pittsburgh Steelers for nearly two years, but now the couple has finally called it quits.

Bouchard and Rodolph made their relationship official in early 2021 and have been quite vocal about their relationship. The couple often share pictures of each other on their social media and are seen, but now the duo has broken up. Both Bouchard and Rudolph have deleted each other pics from their social media and unfollowed each other. They are yet to give a comment on the split, however, the decision was reportedly a mutual one and they have decided to remain friends post the breakup.

Bouchard doesn’t seem too down over her split and even shared snaps of her celebrating St. Patrick’s day as she spends some quality time at the beaches of Miami.

As for Rudolph, he has been experiencing turbulent times in his career as well. The Steelers Quarterback has been in dismal form as of late and has fallen down the pecking order and is now a backup to new signing, Mitchell Trubisky.

As for the on-court part, Bouchard has been steadily gearing up for a return after she underwent surgery last year to treat a torn subscapularis in her right shoulder. She last played a match in March last year at the WTA Guadalajara, where she had to retire with an injury. After being on the sidelines for nearly a year, the former World No.5 has finally made a return to competitive tennis.

Bouchard competed at the 2022 Champions Series Tennis circuit, an exhibition tournament in California, which includes mixed teams featuring men’s and women’s legends competing throughout the year for prize money and the season-long points championship. Bouchard competed in the first leg which took place in early March. The 28-year-old made a winning return after clinching both her singles and doubles ties. She defeated 2020 Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin and then teamed up with Tommy Haas to beat Kenin and Sam Querrey in the doubles.

However, there is a long way before she makes a return to the WTA circuit and is currently focusing on building her fitness and making an ascent in the rankings.
