Recently the legend has been amidst a controversy related to the Australian Open 2022. The AO authorities have made it compulsory for all the players to be fully vaccinated before the tournament but Novak has yet not revealed his vaccination status.
Instead, he applied for an exemption from the vaccine but the authorities discouraged this act of the player. Many people across the globe took objections to this and thought if Novak was exempted it would not only be unfair to other players but also risk the lives of each person present at the tournament.
