Croatian tennis player Donna Vekić has looked in good form this season. She went past Francesca Jones in the first round of the Viking Open 2021 without much hassle. Securing 85% win on the first serve, the star player made it very difficult for Jones to even think about making a comeback.
Moreover, Jones did a lot of double faults which added insult to injury and she was eventually thrashed in straight sets by the third-seeded Donna by 6-1, 6-3. Donna was knocked out in the very first round of the French Open 2021 by Karolína Plíšková in straight sets.
Although Donna did give a tough competition to the Czech tennis star but she failed to get over the line at crucial instances. She is desperately looking to make a strong comeback and Camila Giorgi would have to be at her best to stop Donna from moving into the third-round of the tournament.
