‘He’s back!’ Fans left in awe as Novak Djokovic miraculously wins the set to keep himself alive on comeback

Novak Djokovic
World No.1 Novak Djokovic, playing just his second tournament of the season looked rusty right from the very beginning against Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. He was broken up front in the first set and wasn’t serving well at all. He looked rusty from the baseline too and wasn’t able to hit deep balls from the baseline.
He eventually lost the first set 3-6 and to everyone’s surprise, didn’t look like he’d win the second set. His serve wasn’t clicking much and he seemed visibly upset with his level of play. But given his grit, he managed to stay in the match and even took a break courtesy of a drop in level from Fokina. But again, against the run of play, Djokovic got broken while serving for the match and even hit a very untimely double fault.
Back on serve at 5-5, Fokina looked in control and was quick to take the lead but Djokovic forced a tie-breaker despite being the second-best player. The crowd wanted Djokovic to do well and rotted for him to take the match into a decider. The Serb played a very solid tie-breaker despite a sloppy set and had a set point at 6-5 which he miraculously converted courtesy of some GOAT level defending. The roar at the end was to send a statement to everyone watching- The World No.1 has arrived!
