The Belarusian is back in her hometown, Minsk, after her disappointing Australian Open run and is enjoying her time back as she captioned her post ” Home is always a good idea” and shares some clicks of her celebrating. some occasion.
Konstantin Koltsov is a former Belarusian Ice Hockey player. According to reports, Sabalenka and Koltsov have been dating since 2021 and were first spotted together during Roland Garros last year. Sabalenka is quite open about their relationship and often shares snaps of the couple on her social media.

After having a stellar second half of 2021, in which she reached the semi-finals of the Wimbledon and the US Open, Sabalenka couldn’t carry this momentum into her 2022 season. She was knocked out in the opening rounds of both the warm-up tournaments she competed in, in the lead-up to the Australian Open.
The Belarusian had a topsy-turvy Australian Open. The World No.2 who is known for her powerful serve, struggled with her service games throughout the tournament and made 47 double faults in all her matches combined. She lost the first set in her first three matches, but somehow found a way to emerge victorious. Ironically, in her fourth-round match, she made a good start and won the first set but couldn’t progress to the next round after she lost to Estonian veteran Kaia Kanepi.
In spite of her fourth-round exit, Sabalenka maintained her position at No.2 of the latest WTA rankings.
