Former World No. 1 and seven-time grand slam champion Venus Williams, through her youtube channel, recently conducted a sort of Q & A where she answered questions about her relationship status as rumors about her dating Reilly Opelka caught more fire among fans.
Fans have speculated many scenarios involving the two of them from previous pictures and video clips. Venus has been out of the game for almost a year. Her last tournament was the Chicago Women’s Open.
Venus Williams’ Q & A session with Fans
Yesterday, the elder of the Williams sisters in her youtube channel conducted a live Q & A session where she answers questions her fans are curious about. One of the last questions she replied was, “Are you single? I’m married but just wanted to know.”
A funny and ironic question asked by username Rayice44. Venus felt this question to be hilarious with the way facts are. “I am single, enjoy your married life there.” She also previously said, “Will you do something extraordinary?”
Venus also went on further to say, “So for all of you guys who asked me would I like to get married, what are you going to do so? Let me know what are you going to do for me down there in the comments box. So then, you know, I am single, so maybe there will be something that will move me. Let me know.”
There is a reason behind this rumor spreading so far out. After witnessing the win of Reilly Opelka in the Dallas Open, Venus storied on her social media, congratulating him with the caption, “Record-breaking Tiebreak and the title, Great week Reilly Opelka.”
“I am coming back.” – Venus makes claim
In her youtube live, Venus Williams brought on the topic of coming back on the court. However, the American had a lot of changes throughout the year. For instance, she became vegan due to dietary issues.
She said that despite all that’s happening, she doesn’t plan on giving up tennis anytime soon and that one day she “will come back.”
