‘I felt like I had been here forever,’ Simona Halep pays a visit to the Patrick Mouratoglou Academy

Romanian tennis star Simona Halep played her recent match at the opening round of the WTA Qatar Open against Caroline Garcia but she lost it with a score of 4-6,3-6. Ahead of this, she was seen at the WTA Dubai Tennis Championships 2022 where she won the quarterfinals by defeating Ons Jabeur with a score of 6-4,6-3.

But she lost the semifinals to Jelena Ostapenko who thereafter claimed the tournament title by winning the finals. At the Australian Open too, Simona got knocked out in the third round by Alize Cornet with a score of 4-6,6-3,4-6. But the star claimed a title at the start of the season by winning the finals of the WTA Melbourne Summer Set 2022 by defeating Veronika Kudermetova with a score of 6-2,6-3.

Recently Simona paid a visit to the Mouratoglou Academy. She posted the updates of her trip on her official Twitter handle.

“This week I stepped into an academy for the first time. Lucky me that I came to the best one ?Everyone at the @MouratoglouAcad puts their heart and soul into it every single day! Thanks to everyone for welcoming me in such a warm way. I felt like I had been here forever,” she wrote in the tweet.

Simona seemed to enjoy her trip to the Academy. She made a visit to this place for the first time and appreciated everyone person who works at the place for the hard work and efforts that they put in making the academy amazing.

This academy was started by legendary coach Patrick Mouratoglou who is the coach of the greatest tennis player of all times, Serena Williams. He started it in 1994 in Paris but relocated it to Nice later.

On the court, Halep will next be seen at the Golden swing. She will play both the upcoming WTA 1000 events- Indian Wells and Miami.
