Regarded as one of the greatest athletes of all time, Roger Federer is one of those players who eventually become bigger than the sport itself. The Swiss tennis star has won as many as 20 Grand Slam titles thus far in his illustrious career and is in no mood to step away from the court, at least in the near future.

Roger gas achieved almost everything possible on the tennis court and his off-the-court persona has made him a global superstar. However, he has been plagued by a number of injuries in the recent past. The 40-year-old announced a little while ago that he will miss the remainder of the 2021 season due to the same reason.

For the first 10 years of my life there was no social media. I can’t imagine going through the beginning of my career with social media. I have no clue how I would have handled it,” the Swiss tennis star added. Moreover, he also talked about how injuries have prevented him from giving his best on the court during the 2021 season.

I wish I would have been in better shape for Wimbledon this year,” Federer said. However, he went on to add that he worked hard to make his way into the quarter-finals which is not something that can be taken for granted. “At the end of the day, I made the quarters – I played Wimbledon, still. You can never take that sort of thing for granted,” he added.
