Swiatek reached the finals by defeating Jessica Pegula in the semi-finals in straight sets, with the final set dragging on to 7-5. The final score was 6-2 and 7-5. Naomi Osaka’s destination to the finals was not so easy. She played against Belinda Bencic and lost in the first set with a score of 6-4.
