“I’m thankful to call you a friend” Naomi Osaka receives heartfelt message from Christopher Eubanks

American tennis player Christopher Eubanks appreciates former world No.1 for coming to watch him play.

Naomi Osaka is considered to be one of the most humble players in the tennis fraternity. The four-time grand slam champion made Christopher Eubanks day by coming to watch him play at the 2022 Dallas Open.

The former world No.1 posted a story on her Instagram watching Eubanks playing his first qualifying-round match. She seemed to be entertained by Eubanks skills which made her come to the stadium to watch him play.

Eubanks was delighted after watching Osaka’s story and left her loads of sweet messages on his Instagram and Twitter. He conveyed how grateful he was to be able to call a ‘Legend’ like Osaka his friend.

Naomi Osaka is considered to be one of the greats in Women’s tennis right now. She has managed to win 4-grand slams in a really short span and has the ability to achieve much more success in the coming future. She wasn’t able to start the year in a way she would’ve liked to but she has the talent to make a comeback any time she wants.

Osaka has also been known for showing support to young and lesser-known players in Tennis. On Sunday, she went for a match in Dallas Open 2022 between Christopher Eubanks and J.J. Wolf. Osaka was rooting for her friend Eubanks who went on to win the match in a three-set thriller.

Osaka even posted a story on her Instagram which read, “this dude got me over here watching tennis for fun.” Osaka’s message really meant a lot to Eubanks who went on to post really sweet messages about her.

On his Instagram story, he wrote, “I just want to say thank you for coming out to support today! You really didn’t have to do it but you did. You’re truly one of the nicest, most genuine people I’ve ever met and I’m thankful to call you a friend. Thanks again legend,”

On his Twitter, he posted, “Major thank you Naomi Osaka for taking the time out to come to show some support today! I’m super thankful to call you a friend,
