British tennis sensation Emma Raducanu tried her luck at the WTA Guadalajara after failing at the Australian Open 2022 and the WTA Sydney Tennis Classic tournament. But her quest at the tournament had a short run because she was defeated in the first round by Daria Saville.
Raducanu pulled out of the tournament because of a severe leg injury she suffered in the match. Her left leg was severely injured while she was playing with Daria in the open.
And now, Emma has withdrawn from the upcoming Monterrey Open too. She shared her disappointment with the media and her fans. “I just wanted to say that I’m very sorry that I won’t be able to play for you in Monterrey,” she said on the event’s official website. “I was looking forward to playing and staying longer in Mexico. I was having an amazing time, but I got hurt in my last match and that means I can’t play.”
Raducanu was looking forward to this match as she did not earn a single title from the start of this new 2022 season. Her fans had hoped that they would get to see some amazing moves of Emma in the Australian Open as she gave an exceptional performance in the US Open 2021. But to everyone’s surprise, the champ was knocked out in the second round of the Aussie Open by Danka Kovinic.

Although Emma suffered a setback in Mexico she is all set to return at the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells which will commence from 9th March 2022.
The Indian Wells tournament is a Masters 1000 event on the men’s tour and is a WTA 1000 event on the women’s tour. It is usually held in early- and mid-March at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, California, United States.
In this tournament, Emma is ready with some amazing moves to repeat the history of her winning the US Open crown. Her fans are eagerly waiting from the start of the season to see their favorite tennis star conquer the Tennis world.
