Rafael Nadal continues his dream run to the season as he picks up his 17th consecutive win. Up against Daniel Evans, Nadal won the match 7-5, 6-3 to enter the 4th round at Indian Wells for the 13th time. Nadal was a break down in the first set but rallied back in a fantastic fashion to take the first set and subsequently the second. The win over Evans also makes Nadal the first man to win 400 matches in Master tournaments.

Reilly Opelka continues to show why he is the American No. 1 as he overcomes Denis Shapovalov in a thrilling battle in the 3rd round. Opelka won the match 6-7(5) 6-4, 6-4 to reach the 4th round in Indian Wells for the first time in his career with his previous being a 3rd round run in 2021. Opelka had earlier defeated Lorenzo Musetti in straight-sets to start his campaign in the desert.
