Such was her determination and resilience that she went past everyone who came in her way without much trouble. In the final clash against the impressive Leylah Fernandez, Raducanu delivered a magical performance and cornered her opponent in every possible instance.

As soon as the Brit scripted history, several influential personalities took to different social media platforms in order to congratulate her. One among them was famous tennis coach Judy Murray. Judy, who is known for expressing her views freely, posted a picture of young Emma Raducanu and Simona Halep.
Judy suggested that female role models in sports should never be underestimated as they are the ones who inspire the coming generations to do well in their particular field. She wrote, “We should never underestimate the importance of female role models in sport and creating opportunities for young athletes to get close to them.”
“Emma Raducanu’s dad is Romanian and here she is with Simona Halep,” she further added. Emma indeed delivered a wonderful performance and she deserves all the accolades which will come her way. Throughout the tournament, she stayed on top of her game and it eventually paid off.
