British tennis star Andy Murray has achieved a lot in his illustrious career. After a long and arduous journey, the Brit still has got what it takes to succeed at the highest level. The former World No. 1 was plagued by a plethora of injuries that prevented him from delivering his best on the court for an extended period of time.

When he eventually recovered, not a lot of experts were sure about how he will perform, and needless to say, their concern was right. After all, it is not everyone’s cup of tea to play at the highest level with a metal hip. However, it’s Andy we are talking about, the epitome of self-belief and when he is involved, anything can happen.

Only Andy can play as well he is playing with a metal hip: Mike Dickinson

Defying all odds, despite age not on his side, Murray made a comeback on the grass court and started off rather badly. He was a little scratchy, to begin with, and delivered forgettable performances at Wimbledon and Cincinnati. Post that, he failed to do much at Winston Salem as well.

Renowned journalist for Dailymail Mike Dickinson recently stated that Murray’s ranking might showcase something else, but it is a fact that his gameplay is no less than anyone who is in the Top 50. The kind of performance he was able to put up in the US Open yet again proved that he is a champion player. He almost defeated Stefanos Tsitsipipas in the opening round. Although he couldn’t win, how he played was appreciated by everyone.

Moreover, he played exceedingly well at the Indian Wells as well where he thrashed Adrian Mannarino and Carlos Alcaraz Garfia without much hassle. Moreover, the way he played against mighty Alexander Zverev in the third round restored faith in Murray’s admirers that he is not very far away from dominating the proceedings yet again.

However, it won’t be wrong to say that Murray’s self-belief has been a little dodgy as he has faced a lot of defeats in the past few months. He has started off well in pressure games but has failed to deliver in pressure moments. Moreover, a lot of people have raised questions as to why Murray has been given a lot of wildcard entries.

However, the way he has played against top-seeded players proves that he deserved whatever went his way. It would be fair to say that it is just a matter of time before the global superstar starts thrashing the biggest names in tennis.
