World No.1 Ash Barty has had a great start to the 2022 season. She participated in the WTA Adelaide International tournaments and won the finals by defeating Elena Rybakina with a score of 6-3, 6-2. She also won the doubles match along with Storm Sanders. At the Australian Open 2022, she is having a great run and has reached the finals by defeating Madison Keys in the semifinals with a score of 6-1, 6-3.
Barty finished the last 2021with a WTA ranking of World No.1 for the third consecutive time. Last year brought many credits to the player. She was named as the ITF World Champion along with ATP World No.1 Novak Djokovic. She has 14 career titles to her name out of which two are Grand Slams. She won her first Grand Slam in 2019 at the French Open and second title at Wimbledon in 2021.

Rod appreciated Ash for an amazing win in the Australian Open semifinals where she knocked out Madison Keys and will face Danielle Collins in the finals. He posted a tweet on his twitter handle and applauded the star.
