Miami Open 2022 Day 1: Order of Play for Tuesday, 22nd March 2022

Caroline Garcia and Amanda Anisimova will lead the field on Day-1 of the Miami Open 2022

The Sunshine Double will finally return to the Tour in consecutive weeks for the first time since 2019. With the conclusion of the 2022 Indian Wells Open in the last week, the Miami Open 2022 will carry forward the hardcourt action in the USA before the Golden Swing of the Tour begins in April.

The Miami Gardens will have 9 courts employed for the tournament that will offer 1000 points to the winners on both WTA and ATP Tour. The Stadium, Grandstand and Butch Buchholz are the biggest courts with 7 more courts available for the tournament, each hosting 4 matches on the first day (except the Stadium) to host 36 matches with the first matches on all courts set to start at 11 AM local time.

The first day will be American heavy with many wildcard entrants and qualifiers in action. American stars Amanda Anisimova, Shelby Rogers, Jack Sock, Steve Johnson, Denis Kudla can be caught in action on Day-1 that will also see Thanasi Kokkinakis and veterans Kevin Anderson and Fernando Verdasco starting their campaigns.
