Andy Murray and Naomi Osaka share a HEARTFUL moment
Naomi Osaka and Andy Murray are both participating in the Australian Open 2022. Osaka on Wednesday won her match against the American Madison Brengle in straight sets 6-0, 6-4. The defending looked in impeccable form and was flawless in her technique.
Her flawlessness made the 3-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray share a beautiful tweet appreciating Osaka’s skills. Murray wrote, “Anyone hit the ball cleaner from the baseline than @naomiosaka? ?”
Murray himself put up an unbelievable performance in front of the crowd at the John Cain arena. Murray won his first-round match against the Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili in a 5-set thriller. The former world No.1 nearly retired after facing hip injury at the Australian Open back in 2019. However, he had hip replacement surgery and made his comeback.
Osaka delighted by Murray’s comment replied to his tweet and said, “Anyone put their heart on their sleeve and fight harder than @andy_murray? ????”. The wholesome back and forth on Twitter left the fans wanting more engagement between the two grand slam champions.
Osaka in her press conference reacted to Murray’s tweets and said, “It’s a little bit shocking to me to see Andy Murray tweet about me. I hit with him once like three years ago. It was really cool to have someone like him talking about my game.”
However, Murray in his second-round match lost against Osaka’s compatriot Taro Daniel in straight sets 4-6, 4-6, 4-6. But Murray will always remain a champion in the eyes of tennis lovers for making such an unbelievable comeback and playing a grand slam with a metal hip.
