Polish tennis ace Iga Swiatek is over the moon after landing a sponsorship deal with LEGO as she calls it perfect. The 21-year-old who herself is a big fan of building LEGOs recently signed a deal with the leading toy company. The 21-year-old reckons it is a perfect sponsorship for her as it is natural. Swiatek feels that as she has been building LEGOs for a while now, this partnership makes a lot of sense. The Pole also looks forward to making the experience more fun for other customers of the renowned toy company.

Well, it's just perfect. I mean, it's not easy to get a collaboration like that where it's so natural. You guys have been asking me on every tournament if I'm building any LEGOs now. It was an obvious sign that this would work.
Iga Swiatek said to Melbourne Press.
I'm really happy they were willing to do that. Yeah, I hope together we can kind of, I don't know, make LEGOs even more fun, if it's possible. Yeah, I'm just really happy. For me, it's like the perfect sponsorship.
The 21-year-old further stated.

Iga Swiatek’s relationship with LEGO

While Iga Swiatek has recently signed a sponsorship deal with LEGO, the relationship goes a few years back. The Polish ace has been using LEGO products over the past few years. It all began during the COVID-19 pandemic when Swiatek started building different things out of Lego toys.

The World No.1 started using Lego products on the advice of her sports psychologist, Daria Abramowicz. Model-building, she says, is part of her famed mental training regimen, and she often brings them with her on the road to tournaments. It helps her stay away from social media in her leisure time.

LEGO is the perfect way to not think about tennis and to use your time to not look at the screens and watch social media. It's more of a nice way to spend my time off in a relaxing way, and it keeps my mind busy from tennis.
Iga Swiatek told Tennis Channel.

Now, the 21-year-old has landed a deal with the leading toy company. Swiatek is pretty happy about it. Hopefully, this perfect sponsorship will help Swiatek in her quest to win her maiden Australian Open title when the tournament kicks off on Sunday. Swiatek will open her campaign against Sofia Kenin.
