Rafael Nadal‘s amazing year has just become even more wonderful with the news that Rafa along with his wife Maria Perello is expecting their first child. Nadal has won both the Australian Open and the French Open 2022 in the same year for the first time in his career. He is truly having a phenomenal year with the Nadal family’s happiness being multiplied with the news of the couple being pregnant.
After the completion of the French Open 2022, Nadal revealed that he played with his foot numb so that there wouldn’t be any pain. He also said that he will never undertake such a step in the future because it may cause great harm and he was looking to undergo a radiofrequency treatment to sever the pain carriers in his feet so that he could play without any pain in his foot. Nadal is looking to play at the Wimbledon and he will try to complete a Calendar Slam. Fans are rejoicing the news of Nadal expecting his first child, but some of them have raised a valid question, Is the retirement nearby?

Some of the hopeful fans think it might bring an added motivation for Nadal to take a shot at the Calender Grand Slam this year with Nadal already having won two of the four Grand Slams held this year.
