Having not had any big wins since 2022, Siniakova did not have many predictions in favor of her. Proving the world wrong, she beat the 2023 US Open winner in straight sets. It was complete domination from the Czech, who won the match 6-2, 6-4, and saw herself through to the last 16.

Very Proud. I don't have any words, I mean I'm really happy and I’m so excited that I can stay longer here.
Said the very delighted Siniakova in her post-match interview.

With this win, she advanced to the third round and also got her first win against a top-10 player since 2022.

Happy to be moving forward, the Czech revealed to be more confident and reckons to be playing well. Hoping to keep it up, she wants to show some good tennis to the world. Siniakova was now up against the very experienced Danielle Collins in the third round.

After a huge victory over the in-form Coco Gauff, Siniakova headed into the third round with more supporters on her side.

However, she was up against Collins, who was also fresh off some good wins. Not able to match the talent of the American, Siniakova lost the match. She lost 4-6, 3-6, thus ending her decent run in Doha.

With this win, Collins made her way to the quarterfinals and is one of the favorites for the title. With some top players like Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina still in the mix, the tournament will get interesting as eight people will make it to the quarterfinals.

All the players in the mix had a disappointing Australian Open and are back to regain some lost momentum and, more importantly, a few points to up their ranking.
