The World No.12, Alex de Minaur recently shocked the crowd that came to witness the United Cup clash between team Australia and team Serbia. The young Australian defeated the World No.1 Novak Djokovic in straight sets.
The Australian was way too impressed with his win over the 24-time Grand Slam champion, having defeated him on Australian soil after almost 6 years and a streak of 43 match wins there. Commenting about his victory, the 24-year-old stated,

Alex de Minaur absolutely stunned the reigning US Open champion by defeating him 6-4, 6-4 leading team Australia to an enormous 3-0 victory over the Serbians. The World No.1 was seen continuously struggling with a wrist injury that seemed to trouble him during his intense clash with the Australian as well. Nonetheless, it came as a shock to see the World No.12 triumph over the Serbian, ending his very dominating streak at his favorite Australian soil.
Winning the match and once again adding credibility to his name in the tennis circuit after a long time, the Australian tennis player stated what influenced a sudden change in his game. Speaking further, the Australian added,
