The 19th-seeded Alexander Zverev will be playing at Wimbledon 2023 after a number of semi-final exits. The German professional was defeated in the semis of his last three events, the Geneva Open, the French Open, and the Halle Open, by different opponents.
After some good performances over the season, Zverev will be hoping to cross the semifinal mark this time around. Zverev has not been able to go past the fourth round in the grass-court Major. His best fourth-round finish came in 2021, and he withdrew from the event last year due to injury.
Tough test expected for Zverev

Zverev gets an easy first-round matchup against Gijs Brouwer. In the second round, Zverev is expected to play against Huesler. The World No. 21 would most likely meet the winner between Italian Matteo Berrettini and Australian Alex di Minaur to set up a clash against World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in the fourth round.
Alexander Zverev leads the head-to-head record against the Spaniard by 3-2 and would like to continue the lead. If the German is able to continue his lead, he will likely be meeting either Frances Tiafoe or Holger Rune in the quarterfinals. The semi-final fixture against one of Norrie, Medvedev, or Tsitsipas might be a possibility for the German International.
If everything goes right for Zverev, he could set up a final against 23-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic.
