Former American tennis ace Andre Agassi never misses a chance to celebrate his wife Steffi Graf and her on-court achievements. Agassi boasts about her Grand Slam titles now and then and it was nothing different when the former tennis ace shared a post on Instagram on Thursday.

As Agassi flaunted his US Open championship ring, he also talked about Graf’s achievements. The American ace said that she has got more such accolades.

Comparing Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf’s Grand Slam titles

While Andre Agassi clearly gives it away to his wife in terms of Grand Slam titles won, there is no harm in quickly going through the exact numbers. Starting with the US Open titles, Graf has 2.5 times more titles than Agassi. While the American tennis ace won 2 US Open titles in his career, Graf clinched five.

Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf are tied in terms of the number of Australian Open titles won. Both the former players won four Australian Open titles. However, Steffi Graf leads Agassi by a huge margin in the French Open titles count and Wimbledon championships count.

While Graf has won five more French Open titles than Agassi (she won six titles at Roland Garros), the former German tennis has won six more Wimbledon titles (a total of seven titles won) than the former American ace. This is where Agassi trails in the total Grand Slam titles count. While he has eight Grand Slam titles to his credit, Graf has won almost three times as Agassi with her 22 Grand Slam titles.

And Andre Agassi is really proud of his wife’s achievements as he continues to boast about it. The former World No.1 recently joked about getting half of Graf’s Grand Slam titles if she ever decided to leave him.

Agassi also cheekily claimed that Novak Djokovic has a long way to go before he catches him in terms of the most Grand Slam titles won (Agassi counted his and Graf’s titles together which equals 30 while Djokovic has 24).
